ANOFOL is manufactured using the anodising method for treating aluminium – better known as the "Eloxal process" in Germany. When the aluminium is anodised, it is coated with a layer of oxide that firmly adheres to the metal surface and forms a nearly homogenous bond with the aluminium. The result: A material with a high-grade and resistant surface that prevents voltage from leaking to the outside, thus ensuring secure and safe electrical insulation.
The unique properties of anodised aluminium make ANOFOL particularly attractive for use in all segments of the electro technical industry. Furthermore, anodised ANOFOL aluminium strip offer crucial advantages over conventional enamelled copper wires.
